Confessions of
"Good Girls"
Born of White Supremacy

Two white sisters inspire readers to tell their own stories about racism, homophobia, and colonialism. These stories are grounded in Americana and invite readers to bravely embrace a better future.

About Us

We two white sisters tell our own stories about racism, homophobia, and colonialism to pull back the curtain on our divided world.

Heather is a Briar Cliff University professor emerita with a passion for social justice, especially as it affects children and families. She lives, writes, and organizes in a small rural community in Nebraska.

Ann works at the intersection of issues through national United Methodist leadership and communications learned at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). After New York, Ann took her blue vote to Texas.
